About Me

Intact health is one of the most underappreciated gifts. I believe that eating well shouldn't be overly complicated, and I have a passion for truly helping people optimize their habits for a better quality of life. I have been practicing as a licensed and registered dietitian since 2017 and working in nutrition-related healthcare for almost a decade. My work experiences range from working with prenatal clients, pediatrics, lactation consulting, to providing evidence-based medical nutrition therapy for a variety of chronic conditions such as: diabetes, chronic kidney disease, bariatric weight management, congestive heart failure, cirrhosis, etc. I have spent the latter part of my career working full-time as a renal dietitian working specifically with individuals in end-stage kidney failure that are on various modes of dialysis.

In the clinical world I've seen, firsthand, the life altering consequences of individuals who didn't take care of their health before further damage was done. In my current role I love helping patients sort through oftentimes confusing information and helping them to implement strategies to improve their health, well-being and (in my current role) likelihood of receiving a transplant. My heart also aches to care for individuals who are motivated to optimize their health and establish sustainable change that benefits them life-long. It’s been well documented that so many ailments and disease respond positively to diet and lifestyle modifications, but it is not always easily implemented. Whether you’re looking to lose weight, improve lab work, optimize performance or even just want to have a better understanding of how to eat well, I want to walk alongside you and help equip you and empower you to make positive, healthful changes. You're invited to taste and see what nutrition counseling from a registered dietitian can do for you!

In my spare time I enjoy running and training for half/marathons, music with my husband, listening to a good podcast (bonus points if its theology based!) and being a mother to the sweetest little 2-year-old!
